I'm a fully qualified and insured grooming professional.

I have a wealth of practical experience in dog handling and I’m really happy to chat with you to find ways to resolve any behaviour/training questions you may have.
During the groom I’m happy to give tips to help with brushing and general dog care.
My aim is to build a calm and happy life for you and your dog.
The Groom:
As an 'in-house' dog groomer I will need access to a shower/bath and an area to set up my grooming table.
It is important that I wash your dog first so that the coat is squeaky clean. Then it’s time for a blow dry before clipping and scissoring to create your pet’s trim.
Prices start from £50 for small dogs and £55-£60 medium dogs, depending on coat type and condition.
Prices start from £70 for large and extra large dogs, depending on coat type and condition.
Location:
My home is near Cannich and I’m happy to travel for up to an hour to groom at your home.
I cover Glenmoriston to Inverness, Drumnadrochit to Cannich and The Black Isle to Alness. Also Beauly, Kiltarlity and surrounding areas.
If you live outwith of these areas, please still contact me and we can discuss the possibility of me visiting your home.
What to expect on the day:
Most dogs require a visit of 1.5 - 3 hours , dependant on size, coat and condition.
Please make sure your dog has relieved itself prior to grooming. Please do not feed your dog for at least an hour before their appointment.
Other Details:
Qualified CPG (Certified Professional Groomer) with IPG UK (International Professional Groomers Inc).
Trained in Dog First Aid and Emergency Canine Care (accredited CPD course).
I am an insured business with PPAW (Pet Professionals at Work).

By booking an appointment with Dogs Groomed by Rohan you agree to our terms and conditions.
Dog Welfare:
In the Grooming process, all care is taken to ensure the health and wellbeing of your pet. Dogs Groomed by Rohan will do whatever is appropriate for the wellbeing of all pets whilst in their care, however, the owner agrees that Dogs Groomed by Rohan, it’s owner and operators are not liable for any pre-existing condition or problem found during grooming. The owner agrees to pay for all treatment incurred due to such. Dogs Groomed by Rohan is not a vet and any advice given regarding health problems should at all times be checked with a licensed vet.
In the event of a pet requiring a shave/clip down due to coat condition, we will use a mild bathing solution to sooth, alleviate issues and may advise veterinary care to be sourced. The Owner agrees that Dogs Groomed by Rohan shall not be held liable for any after effects of ‘matt clipping’ procedures or issues uncovered in a badly matted or neglected coat which could include, but are not limited to: redness, itchiness or self inflicted abrasions from scratching/rubbing.
In conjunction with the rules set out by the Animal Welfare Act 2006 (clause 5), we will not de-matt coats that are neglected and cause stress or trauma to the pet. We reserve the right to refuse to groom any pet if doing so would compromise the safety of the pet and or groomer.
A muzzle may be used or the groom discontinued or refused at any time if the pet shows excessive aggression. The Owner agrees to inform Dogs Groomed by Rohan prior to grooming if the pet has ever bitten or shown aggression. Failure to do so may result in refusal of further services and a minimum of £150 fee in addition to grooming fees, whether completed or not.
In conjunction with the Dangerous Dog Act, the owner understands that they will be held liable for any bites/injuries caused by their dog.
Dogs Groomed by Rohan reserves the right to refuse to give grooming services for any reason.
Cancellation:
Should a client wish to cancel their appointment a notice of at least a 48 hour period is required per dog, failure to do so will incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the cost of the grooming fee.
Clients failing to give the required 48 hours cancellation notice and miss their appointment will be required to pay 100% of the cost of the grooming fee and prepay for any future appointments. Repeated missed appointments will result in refusal of service. A wait of over 15 minutes at a clients address, will be considered as a missed appointment.
If Dogs Groomed by Rohan is running late or should an event occur that we need to cancel your appointment, every effort will be made to give as much notice as possible.
The Owner agrees to pay the cost of all grooming, including but not limited to special handling, matt removal and fees for missed appointments.
General:
Our prices are all dependant on breed, condition of the coat, regularity of grooming maintenance and behaviour of your dog. Whilst every effort is made to ensure our clients get good value for money, prices are likely to increase once a year. Notice will be given 30 days before the increase taking place.
Be aware that you should not handle or approach the dog whilst being groomed as this can cause upset or injury to both dog and groomer unless invited to by the groomer. We cannot be held liable if you disregard this policy.
Owner consents to photos being taken by Dogs Groomed by Rohan for use on their website, Facebook page or other social media. Dogs Groomed by Rohan will never sell copies or grant copyright to outside persons/companies without obtaining prior written consent from the owner.
